The gloss black Top Mount Base #29 from Weaver has been machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit. The aluminum base offers maximum strength so that the rings will hold tight.
Compatibility
- Rear base for the Marlin 39A (round barrel)
- Front base for the Browning 1885 High Wall (octagon barrel)
Note: The Marlin 39A (round barrel) rear base is positioned on top of the receiver and the front base is positioned on the barrel. Drilling and tapping is required. The Browning 1885 High Wall (octagon barrel) will probably require shimming for a perfect scope alignment. The front base may require modification for a correct fit.
