Expanding capped bullet. A special-type bullet with an expansion hollow in its front part. The hollow is covered with a copper cap, which improves ballistic properties of the bullet. The bullet has a considerable fragmentation (expanding) effect deep in the target and is thus used for heavy vital game and beast hunting.
