Keep an eye on your favorite patch of woods even when you're not there with the DTC 650 Trail Camera from Minox, offered here in brown. Trigger time is fast, taking a picture only a half second after the passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor is tripped. In addition to stills with a native resolution of 5MP, this camera can take HD video in 720p or 1080p. A burst mode lets you capture up to five images per triggering event to give your specimen's direction of travel. A near-invisible infrared flash with a range of 59' captures images at night, and aids in not spooking game. Settings are easily adjusted using the 2" color screen. Each picture is stamped with the time, date, and moon phase information for patterning movements.
The DTC 650 accepts SD / SDHC memory cards up to 32GB, which are available separately. A 1/4"-20 socket is built-in so you may use it with a tripod if no other suitable mounting options are available. Included in the package is a USB cable for connection to a computer, as well as an adjustable strap for mounting the camera to a tree. Water and weather-resistant construction ensures durability over extended periods of outdoor use. It runs on ten user-supplied AA batteries.
